A ministry of The Aerie Photo Co.

Nestled was created for the mother who is giving everything she has.

It is a place of shelter, nourishment, and quiet care - where grace meets exhaustion, and love shows up in tangible ways. Rooted in faith, Nestled exists to remind mothers that they are held, seen, and never meant to do this alone.

My Story
Born not from a concept, but from lived experience.

When I entered motherhood, my pregnancy was incredibly difficult, followed by a very traumatic labor & delivery. Postpartum was not kind to me. I struggled deeply with postpartum depression and anxiety, and my body was profoundly depleted, and what I perceived as broken. I was severely anemic. My hair fell out in softball sized clumps. My fingernails showed visible signs of nutrient deficiency - looking as if they had been smashed with a hammer. I was exhausted and in pain in every sense - physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

I wasn't caring for my body or my mind the way I needed to - not because I didn't want to, but because I didn't know how. I was surrounded by love in many ways, especially through the friends who showed up for me in ways I'll be forever grateful for. But when it came to postpartum specific care - medical guidance, nourishment, and consideration for my healing - there were significant gaps. That absence left me depleted and isolated in ways I don't think I'll ever have words for.

Sleep deprivation became a constant companion. The middle-of-the-night wake ups felt endless. As a first time mother, I had no idea what I was doing, and the lack of support, care, and nourishment only deepened that uncertainty.

My husband was my saving grace. His steadiness carried me through a season where I could not carry myself. Surprisingly, it never occurred to me to call on God for help, not once. Not for myself, anyway. I didn't want to be a burden, even though I so desperately needed Him, too. There was a point that I truly felt that God got it wrong when he chose me to be my son's mother.

And in that place - fragile, depleted, and hurting - the seed of Nestled was planted.

Why Nestled Exists

Hold the Mother

Our culture celebrates the baby - and rightly so. But too often, in doing so, the mother is completely forgotten.

The postpartum season becomes centered around what the baby needs, while the woman who carried, birthed, and now sustains that life fades into the background. She gives and gives, often from an empty cup.

Nestled exists to shift that focus.

Because when we hold the mother, she can hold her baby.

Unpopular opinion, but it does not take a village to raise a baby. It takes a village to raise a mother - and we need to take care of mom so that she can take care of her baby. She is after all, the best one for the job.

Nestled Sweatshirts

The Nestled sweatshirt is both a symbol and a source of support. The "t" in Nestled is intentionally  shaped as a cross - a reminder that we are nestled in God's grace, covered and protected under His wings.

"He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge."

Psalm 91:4

100% of proceeds from every Nestled sweatshirt fund a Nestled Kit for a postpartum mother in need.

When you wear Nestled, you are helping ensure that another mother does not enter this season feeling unseen, under-supported, or alone.

This is from our nest to hers.

How to Receive a Nestled Kit

If You are a Mother in Need

If you are expecting or if you are a newly postpartum mom (within the first 8 weeks) and feel that a Nestled Kit would bless you during this season, you are welcome to reach out. Receiving care is not a weakness - it is part of how we were meant to be supported. You may request a Nestled Kit for yourself through the contact form below. All requests are kept private and handled with care and compassion. Shipping of Nestled Kits is not available at this time. Please email to arrange for pick up.

If You Know a Mother Who Could Use Support

If you are a partner, friend, family member, birth worker, or community member who knows an expecting or postpartum mother who could benefit from a Nestled Kit, you may submit a request on her behalf and arrange for pick up.

How Kits are Distributed

Nestled Kits are funded entirely through Nestled sweatshirt sales and community support. Because of this, availability may vary. Kits may be:

- Picked up locally

- Coordinated through a local resource, church, or birth professional

Our goal is to always ensure that each kit reaches a mother who truly needs it, with dignity and grace.

We do not offer shipping of Nestled Kits at this time.

A Gentle Note

Nestled is a small, growing ministry, and while we may not be able to fulfill every request immediately, every message is read, prayed over, and held with care.

The items included in Nestled Kits are intended to offer comfort, nourishment, and support during the postpartum season. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or replace medical care, and should never be considered a substitute for professional medical advice or treatment. Mothers are always encouraged to seek and follow guidance from their healthcare providers for any medical or mental health concerns.

If you are finding yourself in a place of deep distress, feeling overwhelmed, or unsure how to keep going, please know that help is available to you and you do not have to carry that weight alone. In the U.S. you can call or text 988, this is the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, at any time to speak with someone who will listen with compassion and care.
